She's on Duty (잠복근무 Jambok-geunmu) is a 2005 South Korean film about a police detective who goes undercover in a high school to befriend the daughter of an elusive gangster. Despite being heavily marketed the film was generally considered a box office disappointment. It stars Kim Seon-ah as Chun Jae-in, Nam Sang-mi as Cha Seung-hee, Gong Yoo as Kang No-young, Kim Kap-su as Cha Young-jae, and Kim Sang-ho as Detective Kang.

Synopsis

Life is tough for 11-year-old Jae-soo. His alcoholic father is addicted to gamble and insisting there should be a woman in the house to take care of the boy, he keeps bringing waitresses from bar. But none of them can stay long. One day, father brings his 11th lady and being tired of the “visitors”, Jae-soo treats her with a cold heart and so does the lady. However, the more Jae-soo tries to kick her out, the more she sticks to the house. But when they realize that there’s a strong bond gradually built between them, they also find not much time is left for them to be mother and son.
